John Steinbeck made this waterfront area famous. You can’t come to Monterey without visiting this area. Sardine canning factories were once located here. Shop, eat, window shop, people watch.
Driving thru Cannery Row by car just doesn’t do it. Get out and walk and visit some of the great restaurants and stores.
