Garland Ranch Regional Park
Garland Ranch has over 4400 acres in the park. There are redwood groves, oaks, wooded canyons, and hillsides covered with chaparral.This is a great park for walking, jogging, hiking, off road mountain biking and horseback riding. And it is one of the few parks where you can bring your dog on the trails with you! There is a visitor station with nature displays and additional information.
There are 4 main trails:
Buckeye Nature Trail: 2 miles, easy, one to two hours. No horses.
East Ridge: 4 miles, difficult takes 4 to 5 hours. No bikes or horses.
Redwood Canyon: 3.5 miles, moderate, takes 3 to 4 hours. No bikes, no horses.
Snivleys Ridge: 6 miles, difficult takes 3 to 5 hrs.
