Carmel River Beach
Nice mile long beach in Carmel, CA. Named “River Beach” since a river runs into the ocean at this point. Nice white sand beach! There is a bird sanctuary “The Wetlands Natural Reserve” with a wide variety of birds. This is a stop for migratory birds and is part of the Central Coast Birding Trail. The Carmel River Lagoon is at the North end.
