Hang Glider & Parasail Heaven - Marina, California
Marina is a windy city so might as well take advantage of that. This is a popular spot for both hang gliding and parasailing. You do need to have experience and be certified to fly here. This is the most active spot for hang gliding and paragliding (parasailing) on the Monterey Peninsula.
There are other Hang gliding and Para Sail locations – the Seaside/Sand City area and Monterey Beach area (Northern portion).
Marina State Beach has dangerous riptides and so is not recommended for swimming.
